What is your understanding between shape and structure?

Structures are composed of a number of shapes, these shapes can be platonic or archemedian, solid shapes like triangles are often used in structures as they are sturdy.

Which shape is the strongest?

the triangle is the strongest, therefore we used it many times today to build our structure.

Which shape is the most visually interesting?

I find the circle to be the most visually interesting, I tend to use it subconsciously throughout my work so I’ve gathered im just naturally drawn to it.

You were asked to work in a team, how did that make you feel?

I am always excited to partake in group work and bounce off of my teammates, sharing ideas.

How did the decision making process evolve in your group?

We got into a useful pattern of a person imputing a suggestion and naturally the group would agree or disagree, typically agree though as we thought it important to trial all ideas and value our teammates thoughts.

What was successful about the structure you produced?

Our structure included a hanging piece which we decided to pull using string, back and forth. This added whimsy to our structure. We also had members of the team interacting with the structure, going inside it. This was very successful as our structure was engaging and interactive.

Was it stable?

this is something we struggled with and took a lot of time to get to a point where it was stable, we thought we had to compromise the aesthetic of the structure to stabilise it, but in the end the extra sticks for structure ended up being something we all visually enjoyed.

Whag would you change about it?

to develop our structure further it would be amazing to implement a piece which could move the top half of our structure without us having to use strings.
